Andrew J. Atkins

Andrew J. Atkins is an experienced consultant in software and theoretical chemistry, currently serving as a Principal Consultant at Planisware since September 2017, with prior roles as Senior Consultant and Software Consultant. Andrew completed postdoctoral research in Theoretical Chemistry at both the University of Vienna and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), contributing to significant research from June 2015 to May 2017 and October 2010 to September 2014, respectively. Andrew also conducted research as a Doktorand student at KIT, focusing on electronic spectroscopy. Earlier in 2009, Andrew worked as a temporary research assistant at the University of Wales, Bangor. Andrew holds a Dr. rer. nat in Theoretical Chemistry from KIT (2010-2013) and a Master's degree (MChem) in Chemistry from Bangor University (2006-2010).
