Erich Allen has had a long and varied career in the military and in the private sector. Erich began their career in 2002 with the 1st Infantry Division as a Reconnaissance Specialist, where they were responsible for intelligence gathering and reporting, establishing and providing continued security, weapons emplacement and operations, as well as calling in airstrikes and artillery on enemy positions. In 2004, they attended the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School as a Special Operations and Warfare Student. Erich then joined the United States Army Reserve as an Intelligence Analyst and Reconnaissance Specialist in 2007. In 2008, they joined the US Army as a UH-60 Helicopter Instructor Pilot, Air Mission Commander, and Mission Briefing Officer. Erich also served as an Aviation Safety Officer, and a Financial Accounts and Logistics Manager/UH-60 Helicopter Pilot. In 2016, they joined Cornell & Company, Inc. as their Corporate Safety Director, where they were responsible for the development of job specific Health and Safety Plans (HASPs), coordinating job site and shop safety programs, conducting job site safety audits, serving as liaison to multiple agencies (hygiene, insurance, and medical), and accountable for developing, executing, and maintaining Cornell & Company Safety and Training programs. In 2017, Erich became the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Planiversity, a travel planning software.
Erich Allen has a Master of Arts in International Relations from American Military University, a Bachelor of Arts in History from Columbia College, and a Commercial Certificate with Rotorcraft Helicopter and Instrument Rating from the Federal Aviation Administration.
