Cherie Chung-Osler

Cherie Chung-Osler has a diverse range of work experience. Cherie most recently worked as a Patient Operations Coordinator at Planned Parenthood Great Plains starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Health and Nutrition Specialist at Growing Futures Early Education Center from April 2021 to April 2022.

Cherie also has experience in the child welfare field, having held positions at KidsTLC. Cherie worked as a Care Coordinator from January 2020 to April 2021, where they were responsible for leading staff and caring for clients based on the Phoenix Community Constitution and DDP principles. Before that, they served as a Care Facilitator from August 2019 to January 2020, providing therapeutic care, ensuring safety, and supporting the growth and development of children.

In the public health sector, Cherie worked as a Public Health Specialist at KCMO Health Department from September 2018 to July 2019. Cherie'sresponsibilities included conducting inspections, assessing risks, and educating operators and employees about food, life, and pool safety.

Cherie also has administrative experience, having worked as an Administrative Assistant at Shield Casework from December 2015 to September 2018.

Additionally, Cherie gained experience in prevention and education as a Prevention Intern at Kansas City CARE Clinic from January 2018 to May 2018. Cherie specifically focused on HIV, Hep C, and STD prevention and education as part of the needle exchange program.

Cherie Chung-Osler completed their undergraduate education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences. Following their undergraduate studies, Cherie pursued further education at Mississippi University for Women, starting in 2021. Cherie is currently working towards a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, with a focus on a field of study that is not specified.
