Rebecca S. Barfknecht

Rebecca S. Barfknecht has extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations and industries. Currently serving on the West Coast Leadership Council at the Center for Reproductive Rights since February 2017 and as a Supporter of Planned Parenthood Mar Monte since January 2009, Rebecca also holds positions as Board Member and Chair of the Board of Directors for Planned Parenthood Advocates Mar Monte until July 2024. Rebecca has previously chaired the Presidents' Council at the International Women's Forum and served as President of the Board of Directors for IWF Northern California, promoting women's leadership and achievements. In the technology sector, Rebecca has held senior management positions, including Global Head of IT Infrastructure at Russell Investments and SVP of Technology Infrastructure at Charles Schwab, following a tenure as CIO at Pacific Bell Information Services. Rebecca earned a BS in Physics from Purdue University between 1975 and 1979.
