Kayla Friedland

Kayla Friedland currently serves as a DC Community Organizer at Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, DC, Inc., a position held since December 2022. Previously, Kayla worked as a Community Organizer for the Decrim Poverty DC Campaign from May 2022 to August 2022 and gained experience as a Programs and Advocacy Intern at Collective Action for Safe Spaces between September 2019 and May 2022. Kayla earned a Bachelor of Science in Culture and Politics from Georgetown University, completing the degree in May 2022, and holds an Associate of Arts in Political Science and Government from the College Academy at Broward College, awarded in May 2018. Prior education was obtained at Nova High School, where Kayla graduated in May 2016.
