Kimberlyn Lopez

Kimberlyn Lopez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare data privacy, information systems management, and clinical support roles. Currently serving as the Director of Data Privacy and Reporting at Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest since February 2010, Kimberlyn leads privacy and information security incident response initiatives and manages corrective action plans. Previous roles include Manager of Information Systems, Health Systems Administrator, and Health Systems Specialist, where responsibilities encompassed managing clinical applications, developing SQL reports, and translating clinical processes into system operations. Earlier experience includes serving as a Medical Technician in the US Air Force and a Research Analyst at UC San Diego Health, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration from Southern Illinois University and additional studies at San Diego State University.
