Monica Bell, MPH, FACHE has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Monica began their career as an Intern in the Development Department at Family Health Centers of San Diego in 2005. Monica then joined Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest in 2006, where they held various roles of increasing responsibility. Monica started as a Reproductive Health Assistant and worked their way up to Center Manager Associate and Assistant Center Manager. As a Health Center Manager, Monica successfully turned around five struggling health centers by implementing improvement strategies and providing strong leadership. In 2015, they were promoted to Regional Director of Health Center Operations, where they developed and implemented strategic plans for expanding healthcare access. Most recently, Monica served as the Director of Health Center Operations, overseeing 19 health centers across multiple counties. Monica played a key role in driving operational and healthcare delivery goals, emphasizing employee development and engagement. Monica has a proven track record of achieving results and ensuring optimal operations, staff engagement, and patient experience.

Monica Bell, MPH, FACHE has a diverse education background focused on educational leadership, management, and public health. Monica is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership and Management with a specialization in Creativity and Innovation at Drexel University, starting in 2022.

Monica obtained their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Management and Policy from San Diego State University in 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology & Art History at the University of San Diego in 2006.

In addition to their educational achievements, Monica has also obtained several certifications. Monica is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), obtained in April 2023 from the American College of Healthcare Executives. Furthermore, they hold a Diversity and Inclusion Yellow Belt Certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute, which they obtained in August 2022.
