Amy Dorfman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Amy started their career in 2006 as a Learn and Serve America Intern at the Corporation for National and Community Service. In 2007, they worked as a Development Intern at the League of Young Voters. In 2008, they held multiple internships, including Development Intern at the Center for Social Leadership, Development and External Relations Intern at Common Cents, and Volunteer at COLAGE. In the same year, they also served as a 2008 Fellow at Young People For. In 2009, they worked as a Development and Communications Intern at the Becky Lee Women's Support Fund. From 2009 to 2011, Amy worked at BBYO, Inc., starting as a Development Database Associate and later becoming a Senior Associate of Development Operations. In 2011, they joined the ACLU as a Business Support Manager, Development Operations, where they worked until 2016. Amy's most recent position is with the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Amy started as a Project Manager in 2016 and has since been promoted to Associate Director, Project Management, and currently serves as the Director of Project Management as of February 2020.
Amy Dorfman's education history includes a Master of Public Administration degree in Nonprofit Management from The George Washington University, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. Prior to this, from 2005 to 2009, they also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The George Washington University, majoring in Human Services and minoring in Sociology.
