Attia Taylor

Associate Director, Digital Content Strategy at Planned Parenthood

Attia Taylor has had a diverse range of work experiences. Attia started their career as a Communications Intern at WHYY in 2006, where they contributed to the creation of a documentary on the topic of Homeless Teenagers in Philadelphia. Attia then worked as an Audio Intern at First Person Arts from 2010 to 2012.

In 2012, Attia took on the role of Communications and PR Intern at Paper Magazine. Attia later became a Writer at Tom Tom Magazine in 2011, where they continued to work until an unspecified date in 2017.

Attia joined Planned Parenthood Federation of America in 2015, initially serving as an Executive Assistant from 2015 to 2016. Attia then transitioned to the role of Research Specialist in Digital Products from 2016 to 2017. Attia returned to Planned Parenthood in 2019, first as an Editor, Digital Content and Campaigns, and then as a Manager of Digital Content Design starting in May 2022.

In 2017, Attia founded Womanly, an organization focused on empowering people to take charge of their health through art and creative experiences. Attia remains involved with Womanly to this day.

Attia also worked at LOOM from January 2020 to February 2021 as a Digital Editor. Attia'sresponsibilities included writing and editing content for LOOM's social channels, producing creative content, and managing social communities.

Additionally, Attia spent time at SecondMuse as a Community Manager from June 2018 to April 2019, where they likely played a role in community engagement and management for the organization.
