Carmen Peraza Ms

Carmen Peraza MS, RHIA, CCS, CDIP has extensive experience in health information management, currently serving as Coding Supervisor at Planned Parenthood Federation of America since October 2021. Previous positions include HIM Director at a hospital, Coding and CDI Supervisor at the Dept. of Veterans Health Administration, and Coding Compliance Auditor/Educator at Providence Health & Services. Carmen's career also features roles such as Inpatient Coding/DRG Auditor, Coding Specialist, HCC Remote Coder, and ICD-10 Consultant. Academically, Carmen holds a Master’s degree in Health Information Management from The College of St. Scholastica, a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from California State University, Northridge, and an Associate of Arts Degree from Los Angeles Pierce College, complemented by a diploma from John H. Francis Polytechnic High School.
