Julie Lewis Mph

Julie Lewis, MPH has an extensive work history in the field of public policy and healthcare. Julie is currently the Director of Public Policy at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where they have been since 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Associate Director of Public Policy at the same organization from 2021 to 2023.

Before their time at Planned Parenthood, Julie held various positions at different organizations. From 2019 to 2020, they were the Vice President at Hunt Alternatives, and from 2017 to 2019, they served as the Director of Partnerships at the same company. In 2017, they worked as the Public Policy Research Manager at National Journal.

Julie's career in public policy began in 2012 when they joined the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association as the State Policy Manager until 2014, and later became the Policy Director from 2014 to 2017.

Julie's educational background includes working as a Research Assistant at The George Washington University from 2011 to 2012 and as a Policy/Communications Intern at The Beryl Institute from 2011 to 2012.

Prior to their work in public policy, Julie held the position of Strategic Outreach Coordinator and Harvard Liaison at Hunt-Ansbacher Family Office from 2007 to 2010, and was a Development Assistant at the Anti-Defamation League from 2005 to 2007.

Julie Lewis, MPH, obtained their Master of Public Health degree with a focus on Health Policy from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Julie completed this program between 2010 and 2012. Prior to their graduate studies, Julie attended California State University, Chico, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. This undergraduate program took place from 2002 to 2004.
