Kaitlyn Marchesano has held various roles in the field of reproductive health and education. From November 2015 to May 2019, they worked at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, first as an Associate Director of Education and then as a Director of Education Strategy. In these positions, they were responsible for developing and implementing education programs and strategies. In January 2017, they joined the New York Abortion Access Fund as a Member of the Board of Directors and Governance Chair, a position they held until May 2022. At the Institute of Women and Ethnic Studies, they served as a Program Manager from May 2014 to October 2015. Kaitlyn began their career in 2011 at the Louisiana Office of Public Health STD/HIV Program as an Adolescent Health Coordinator, where they coordinated programs focused on HIV/STD awareness and prevention.
Kaitlyn Marchesano earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs and Global Public Health from The George Washington University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Kaitlyn further pursued their education at Tulane University from 2009 to 2011 and obtained a Master of Public Health degree in International Health & Development.
