Miriam Berg has a diverse work experience in the fields of writing, editing, digital content management, and communications.

Miriam started their career as a Copy Editor & Proofreader at the International Paris Air Show from June 2010 to June 2013. In this role, they ensured consistency in copy and used their expertise in AP Style to edit and proofread aviation, aerospace, and defense-related content.

Miriam then moved on to work at the Alliance to Save Energy. From July 2010 to June 2011, they served as a Digital Content & Publications Senior Associate, managing print and digital content and analyzing website traffic. From July 2011 to January 2013, they were a Digital Content & Publications Project Manager, responsible for finding engaging story ideas for the organization's website and newsletters, maintaining consistent style, and optimizing content for SEO and online reader attention.

Miriam also worked as a Web Writer & Digital Content Manager at the American Wind Energy Association from August 2009 to May 2010, and as a Communications Director for the College Campus Program at AIPAC from May 2007 to June 2008.

Miriam had extensive experience freelancing, providing content writing, editing, and digital content strategy services. Miriam freelanced from July 2008 to June 2010 and again from January 2013 to the present. During their freelance work, they showcased their expertise in writing, editing, and digital content strategy.

In addition, they have experience in the government sector, serving as a Communications Lead for the U.S. Department of Energy under contract with Energetics Inc. from February 2013 to May 2014. In this role, they managed a team to create digital and print products for the Department of Energy's Building Technologies Office, and played a crucial role in the website redesign process.

Miriam also held editorial positions at The Advisory Board Company, where they worked as an Editor and Senior Writer for the Nursing Executive Watch newsletter from October 2003 to May 2007.

Most recently, they worked as a Social Media Strategist & Copywriter at NOBODY from June 2017 to March 2018, and as a Digital Content Manager at the Planned Parenthood Federation of America from June 2014 to the present. In their role at Planned Parenthood, they served as the editor-in-chief for PlannedParenthoodAction.org and istandwithpp.org, creating rapid-response content.

Miriam Berg completed their high school education from Bullis between 1995 and 1999, earning an honors degree. Miriam then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Northwestern University from 1999 to 2003.
