William Sharp (Heath)

William (Heath) Sharp serves as a Research Scientist at Planned Systems International since January 2021 and has held the position of Graduate Research Assistant at George Mason University since August 2019, focusing on trust in computer agents in human-computer teams. Previous experience includes research roles at The Catholic University of America, where studies involved automation trust and planning ability, and the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, concentrating on traumatic brain injuries and rehabilitation. Notable contributions include an award-winning undergraduate research project at the University of Mary Washington, as well as assisting in various research initiatives across multiple institutions. William (Heath) Sharp is pursuing a PhD in Human Factors and Applied Cognition at George Mason University, following a Master’s degree in Human Factors from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Mary Washington.
