Alex Caston

Alex Caston, M.Ed., currently serves as an English Teacher at Plano ISD since July 2024, following a previous tenure as an English Teacher at Dallas Independent School District. Experience includes roles as a Success Coach at Podium Education, where responsibilities involved monitoring student progress and providing support, as well as serving as a Success Coach and Adjunct Instructor at Grayson College. Academic advising experience was gained at the University of North Texas, assisting students in achieving their degree requirements and applications for health professional schools, along with roles as a Graduate Assistant at Southern Methodist University and as a Substitute Teacher in Dallas ISD. Alex holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
