Emily Hoang

Emily Hoang has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a High School Counselor and Academic Specialist at Plano Independent School District since August 2005, following a role as a Pre-Calculus teacher from 2010 to 2015. Prior to Plano ISD, Emily taught 6th grade math at Garland Independent School District from August 2003 to August 2005. Emily's professional background also includes positions as a Project Manager at Sabre Airline Solutions and a Credit Manager at Wells Fargo Financial. Emily holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in School Counseling from Amberton University, a Master of Education in Teacher Leadership from Lamar University, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas A&M University.
