Heba Abdelghani

Heba Abdelghani has an extensive career in education within Plano Independent School District, starting in August 2002 and currently holding multiple roles including ESL Department Head, English as a Second Language Specialist, Social Emotional Learning Campus Facilitator, Special Education Team Leader, and Special Education Teacher. From August 2017, Heba also engages in ESL curriculum writing and serves as a New Teachers Mentor campus liaison. Prior to this, Heba worked as an accountant at City Gas from December 1999 to July 2000. Academically, Heba earned a Master of Education in Education Leadership from Lamar University (2008-2010) and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from The American University in Cairo (1990-1994). High school education was completed at Maadi Canal School.
