Wendy Barr

Wendy Barr is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering, tax advising, and educational support. Currently serving as an AVID Tutor at Plano ISD since September 2021, Wendy also worked as a Master Tax Advisor at H&R Block from January 2022 to April 2024. Previous engineering roles include positions at Texas Instruments from May 1993 to February 2017, where Wendy held titles such as EDA/Methodology Engineer, ASIC Design Engineer, and SDRAM Design Engineer. Early career experience includes a Test Engineer Summer Intern role at Tensleep Design in 1992. Wendy Barr holds a Master of Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Rice University.
