Sebastian Blatt

Sebastian Blatt has an extensive work experience that spans various roles and organizations. Sebastian is currently the CTO & Co-founder of planqc, a position they assumed in June 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Group Leader at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München starting from May 2022. From April 2015 to April 2022, Sebastian held the position of Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics. Before joining Max Planck, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard University from August 2011 to April 2015.

Sebastian Blatt pursued their education in the field of Experimental Physics. From 2000 to 2005, they attended Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, where they earned their Diplom degree. Following this, from 2006 to 2011, they enrolled at the University of Colorado Boulder, completing their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Experimental Physics.
