Stepan Snigirev

Stepan Snigirev has a diverse range of work experience in the field of quantum engineering. Stepan started their career at the Russian Quantum Center in 2013 as a Postdoc, where they worked on building an experimental setup for quantum simulations with ultracold Thulium atoms. In 2015, they joined the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics as a Postdoc, where they worked until 2018. During this time, they also completed their doctoral studies. In 2018, Stepan co-founded Crypto Advance GmbH and served as the CTO until 2022. In their role, they played a crucial part in the company's technological development. Currently, they work as a Senior Quantum Engineer at planqc, starting in July 2022. Through their various roles, Stepan has gained extensive experience in quantum engineering and has demonstrated their expertise in the field.

Stepan Snigirev completed their education from 2003 to 2014 at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT). During this period, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in the field of Physics.
