Brian Butler

Brian Butler has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Brian currently serves as the Software Engineering Manager at Plant Assessor since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Dematic ANZ from August 2012 to May 2022, first as a Senior Software Engineer and later as the Software Engineering Manager. Before joining Dematic ANZ, Brian worked at Sage Micropay for nearly a decade as a Software Developer, where they developed and maintained a web-based employee self-service product. Earlier in their career, they were a Senior Software Developer at Diamond Network Solutions, where they developed various utilities using VB6, SQL Server, and MS Access. Brian's career began as a Software Developer at GMB Research and Development in 1998.

From 1994 to 1996, Brian Butler attended TAFE NSW where they pursued a Diploma in Commercial Data Processing. During their time at TAFE NSW, Brian focused on studying subjects such as Software Development, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and Database Development.
