Chris Cunningham is an experienced professional with a diverse background in environmental planning, research, and education. Currently serving as a Grant Writing Intern at Plant With Purpose since January 2013, Chris has contributed to the development of a Wikipedia page and assisted in the grant writing process. In addition, Chris has interned with NOAA on the Viva Vaquita program and worked on a marine mammal research database. Prior experience includes serving as an Environmental Analyst at Global Environmental Permitting, a Foreign Expert at Newman English School in China, and an intern for the California Governor's office. Chris began the professional journey in library services and humanitarian work with the International Rescue Committee, focusing on assisting refugees. Chris holds a Master of Science in Environmental Planning and Management from the American Public University System and a Bachelor of Science in International Relations and Political Science from UC San Diego.
