Derek S. Weber

Derek S. Weber, CPA, currently serves as a Tax Partner at Plante Moran, a position held since June 2012, where responsibilities include tax planning, consulting, and compliance for closely held businesses, individuals, and families, with a focus on achieving tax efficiency in income tax and wealth transfer. Previously, Derek held the role of Tax Manager, providing similar services, and worked as a Senior Tax Associate at Blackman Kallick from January 2008 to July 2012. Earlier experience includes serving as an Audit Assistant at the Will County Auditor, conducting fraud audits from July 2004 to July 2006. Derek holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University, earned between 2006 and 2008, and attended Loyola University Chicago for Accountancy from 2004 to 2006.
