Doug Farmer

Doug Farmer, MBA, is a seasoned professional in governance and enterprise risk services, currently serving as Partner and National Practice Leader at Plante & Moran since August 2004. With expertise in Sarbanes Oxley compliance and internal audits, Doug delivers customized services across various industries. Previously, Doug held the position of IAS Group Director at Ernst & Young, LLP, where leadership of a global internal audit outsourcing engagement for Whirlpool Corporation was key. Additional experience includes management roles in internal audit at Whirlpool Corporation and manufacturing finance at Zenith Data Systems, as well as earlier auditing work at Blue & Co., LLC. Doug holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and a BS in Accounting from Ball State University.
