Kurt Vanderwal

Kurt VanderWal, CISSP, has worked in the field of information security for over 20 years. Kurt currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Plante Moran, where they provide leadership and direction for all aspects of information security. Prior to this role, Kurt worked as the Information Security Manager at Plante & Moran, where they supported both technology and the business in providing end-to-end security. Before joining Plante Moran, Kurt worked as a Systems Engineer at Innovate Technology Consulting Group and Sarcom, where they handled server installations and troubleshooting.

Kurt VanderWal, CISSP, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Grand Valley State University in the years 1989 to 1994.
