Chris Howe

Chris Howe has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Chris is currently working at Planters First Bank as the Chief Credit Officer. Previously, they were a Senior Lending Officer and Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at the same company. Before joining Planters First Bank, Chris worked at Great Oaks Bank as the Middle Georgia Division President and Senior Vice President. Chris also held roles at SunMark Community Bank, where they served as the Market President and Chief Credit Officer. During their time at SunMark Community Bank, Chris created and implemented a centralized credit underwriting department and was responsible for hiring, training and managing Credit Analysts and junior lenders. Prior to that, they worked at Wells Fargo as a Financial Specialist and at Robins Federal Credit Union in Loans.

Chris Howe attended Middle Georgia State University where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management in 1999. Later on, they pursued further education at LSU Graduate School from 2007 to 2009, focusing on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law.
