Jorge Dinamarca

Jorge Dinamarca has worked for a variety of organizations since 2008. Jorge began their career at The Weizmann Institute of Science as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2008 to 2012. Jorge then moved to Rutgers University, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Algenol Biofuels Inc. as a Scientist. From 2017 to 2018, they worked at Louisiana State University as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Jorge then joined Synthetic Genomics, where they held the roles of Scientist and Scientist II from 2018 to 2023. Most recently, they have been a Senior Scientist at Plantible Foods since 2023.

Jorge Dinamarca completed a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at Universidad de la Frontera from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Biochemistry from Universidad de Concepción from 1996 to 2003.
