Vickie Wood

Vickie Wood is an experienced fundraising and communications professional with a focus on impactful partnerships in the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications at Plantlife International since October 2021, Vickie leads efforts to enhance public engagement and funding partnerships through campaigns such as #NoMowMay. Previously, Vickie was the Head of Fundraising and Communications at Motivation International, where responsibilities included income generation and team building during challenging fundraising periods. Vickie's earlier roles include Head of Individual Giving at Send a Cow, Supporter Manager at Sustrans, and Account Manager at ActionAid NTT, where Vickie managed various fundraising initiatives for multiple charity clients. Vickie holds a Master of Science in Agriculture and Development from the University of East Anglia and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London.
