Krishna Mitter has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology industry. Krishna is currently the EVP - Strategic Transformation at PlantWorks, where they are responsible for integrating the group's businesses into a multinational corporation and managing strategic projects for improved business outcomes. Previously, they served as the Vice President - Platform Engineering at Zinier, focusing on growth, scale, and innovation. Prior to that, Krishna was the VP, Engineering & Strategy at Citrya Innovations, where they transformed a SaaS-based service into a product offering using agile methodologies. Krishna also held senior leadership positions at Novell, including Senior Director - Software Engineering and Director - Software Engineering, where they played key roles in innovation, team management, program management, and product development. Krishna's early career included various engineering positions at Novell, where they demonstrated expertise in designing and building gateways, collaborating on migrations, and working on security infrastructure.
Krishna Mitter's education history includes a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) obtained from 1992 to 1996. In addition, they have completed a Leadership Program from TMI in 2005 and an Accelerated Leadership Development program from Harvard Business School in 2009-2010. Recently, in 2019, Krishna obtained a Specialisation in Corporate Entrepreneurship: Innovating within Corporations from the University of Maryland. They have also obtained certifications as a Certified Executive Coach and Certified Team Coach from Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching in 2019.
