Udara Bentota

Udara Bentota is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software architecture and development, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at PlanYear since October 2022. Previously, Udara held the same title at Lumity, Inc. from October 2021 to October 2022, and served as Principal Software Architect and Software Architect at Limark Technologies from January 2015 to June 2022, focusing on retail and ad tech industries with expertise in big data, cloud architecture, and microservices. Prior roles include Associate Software Architect and Technical Lead at Allion Technologies, where Udara led multiple teams in Java and C++, and various development positions at JKCS and APIIT. Udara holds a BSc in Computing from the University of Staffordshire, an MCS in Computer Science from the University of Colombo, and a degree in Computing from APIIT.
