Ashish Antony Jacob

Ashish Antony Jacob is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently leading software engineering, product development, and research at Planys Technologies since July 2017. Prior to this role, Ashish conducted significant research at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, contributing to advancements in nondestructive evaluation methodologies and online ultrasonic inspection of metallic structures. Ashish holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras and an Engineering Degree from Pondicherry Engineering College. In addition to technical expertise, Ashish demonstrated leadership as a student head and secretary general at IIT Madras, and participated as a silver medalist in badminton at the 50th Inter-IIT sports meet. Early career experience includes a role as a Curing and Tyre Uniformity Maintenance Engineer at MRF Tires.
