Emily Babson

Emily Babson, SHRM-CP has a diverse range of work experience in the field of human resources. Emily is currently the Head of Human Resources at Plascore, Inc. Prior to this, they held several roles at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, including Human Resources Director, Director of Talent, Organizational Development & Leadership Training, and Employment Specialist for Diversity & Inclusion and Succession Planning. At Mary Free Bed, they were responsible for recruitment, job description development, candidate screening and interviewing, onboarding, and implementing more efficient recruiting procedures. Emily also played a key role in the implementation of TEDS Talent Acquisition Software and the development of a succession planning toolkit. Before their time at Mary Free Bed, Emily worked as an Event Coordinator at Watermark Country Club. Overall, Emily has a strong background in human resources and has demonstrated skills in leadership development, recruitment, and talent management.

Emily Babson, SHRM-CP, began their education by attending Grandville High School from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Emily then went on to pursue further education at Central Michigan University from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. During their time at Central Michigan University, Emily Babson focused their studies on Public Relations and Accounting.
