Vishwajeet Kumar

Vishwajeet Kumar has a diverse work experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management. Vishwajeet currently serves as the Head Of Department Strategic Sourcing at Plasser India Pvt Ltd since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Atlas Copco as a Manager - Sourcing from 2012 to 2019, where they were responsible for new parts development, new vendor development, global sourcing, commodity & call off, and warehouse management. Vishwajeet also contributed to the successful development of Global Rig for the USA market. Before joining Atlas Copco, they held the position of Manager - SCM at Telcon from 2008 to 2011 and Asst Manager - Purchase at Automotive Axle Limited from 2005 to 2008.

Vishwajeet Kumar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering at Vidya Vardhaka College of Engineering, Mysore from 2001 to 2005. Vishwajeet later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations at Welingkar Institute of Management from 2016 to 2018.
