Fabian Hansmann

Fabian Hansmann has an extensive work experience in the field of railway engineering and transportation. Fabian started their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Institute of Highway Engineering and Transport Planning at Technische Universität Graz in 2007. Fabian then worked as a Research Assistant at the same institute from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they joined the Institute of Railway Engineering and Transport Economy at Technische Universität Graz as a Research Assistant and later became a Research Associate from 2011 to 2015.

In 2015, Hansmann transitioned to Plasser & Theurer Export von Bahnbaumaschinen G.m.b.H. where they held the position of Senior Expert Track Technology until 2019. Fabian then joined Plasser American Corporation in 2019 as a Senior Scientific Advisor for Railroad Engineering & Applied Technologies until 2021. Hansmann returned to Plasser & Theurer Export von Bahnbaumaschinen G.m.b.H. in 2021 as a Deputy Director of Marketing, and they currently hold the position of Head of Marketing.

Throughout their career, Hansmann has gained expertise in various aspects of railway engineering and transportation, making him a valuable asset in their current role at Plasser & Theurer Export von Bahnbaumaschinen G.m.b.H.

Fabian Hansmann's education history begins in 2005 when they enrolled in the Bachelor's Degree Program in Civil Engineering Sciences with Environment and Construction Management at Technische Universität Graz. Fabian completed this program in 2009 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree.

Following their bachelor's degree, Fabian pursued a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering Sciences, Environment, and Transportation at Technische Universität Graz, starting in 2009 and finishing in 2011. Fabian received a Master of Science degree upon completion of this program.

After completing their master's degree, Fabian went on to pursue a Doctoral program in Engineering Sciences, specifically in Civil Engineering at Graz University at Technische Universität Graz. This doctoral program began in 2011 and concluded in 2015, resulting in Fabian obtaining a Doktor (Ph.D.) degree.

In 2020, Fabian expanded their education by completing a Certificate in Financial Accounting through Harvard Business School Online.

Currently, Fabian is enrolled in the WU Executive Academy, beginning in 2021, and expected to finish in 2023. Fabian is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing and Sales.

In addition to their formal education, Fabian also obtained a certification in Negotiation: How to Get (More of) What You Want from Stanford Online, which they completed in August 2023.
