Markus Jürgen Buchner

Markus Jürgen Buchner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product strategy and systems engineering within the engineering sector. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Product Strategy at Plasser & Theurer Export von Bahnbaumaschinen G.m.b.H. since October 2020, Markus focuses on business strategy and the strategic development of new machine concepts. Previously, Markus held the position of Head of Systems Engineering at the same company, leading projects on alternative powertrains. Earlier experience includes a role as System Engineer and Industrial Engineer at BMW Group. Markus holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Wirtschaftsingenieur Maschinenbau from Technische Universität Graz and is pursuing further education at the University of Kansas - School of Engineering. Additionally, Markus completed a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Technische Universität Graz and holds a Matura in Mechatronik, Robotik und Automatisierungstechnik from HTL Litec.
