Tatyana Ponomaryov has over 20 years of work experience. Tatyana began their career in 1991 as a Young Research Investigator at the Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Plants and Microorganisms in Russia. Tatyana then went on to become a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Brain Development and a Pd.D. Candidate in Hematopoietic Stem Cells at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 1998 to 2007. After that, Tatyana worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and a Research Fellow in Brain Development and Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from 2007 to 2012. Tatyana then became a Scientific Editor at Cactus Communications from 2013 to 2014, followed by a Research Scientist at the University of Birmingham from 2014 to 2018. Most recently, Tatyana has been working as a Principal Scientist at Plasticell Limited since 2018.

Tatyana Ponomaryov completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2004. From 2007 to 2012, they were a Research Fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard University, specializing in cancer stem cells and targeted therapy.
