Yen Choo

Yen Choo has been working in the field since 1995, when they began as a Staff Scientist at the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology. In 1999, they became the Founder & CSO of Gendaq Ltd (Sangamo Biosciences Inc.). In 2002, they founded and became Chairman of Plasticell Ltd. In 2011, they founded and became CEO/CSO of Progenitor Labs Ltd. In 2019, they were appointed Associate Professor of Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine and Executive Director, Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. In 2020, they became Co Executive Director, NTU Institute for Health Technologies at Nanyang Technological University. In 2021, they were appointed Executive Director at Co11ab@Mandalay.

Yen Choo completed their PhD in Molecular Biology at the University of Cambridge between 1991 and 1995.
