Brent Edmisten

Brent Edmisten has a diverse range of work experience. Brent currently holds the position of President at Preferred Business Transformation, LLC and President & Chief Operating Officer at Plastics Extrusion Machinery (PEM) LLC. Prior to these roles, Brent served as the VP of Operations, SCM and Engineering at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. In 2017, they joined Excel Industries, Inc. as the VP of Operations, SCM, & Engineering, where they played a key role in the company's growth and transformation. Before Excel Industries, Brent founded Preferred Business Transformation Inc. to help companies improve their competitiveness and financial performance. Brent also held leadership positions at Hawker Beechcraft Inc. and Cessna Aircraft Company, where they oversaw supply chain operations and strategic sourcing. Overall, Brent's expertise lies in supply chain management, operations, and business transformation.

Brent Edmisten obtained an Executive MBA in Transformation & Executive Leadership from Friends University, where they studied from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Business Administration with Minors in Management, Computer Science, and Marketing at Friends University from 1984 to 1988. Brent also holds certifications including Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from the Institute of Supply Management Certification in 2016, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS in 2009, Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Supply Management Certification in 2007, and Six Sigma Certified Green Belt from Textron in 2007.
