Ashley Hood-Morley

Ashley Hood-Morley has extensive work experience in the plastics industry and sustainability. Ashley currently serves as the Vice President of Industry Engagement at the Plastics Industry Association since June 2022. Prior to this role, Ashley was a Sustainability Strategic Initiatives Manager at Eastman from May 2021 to July 2022.

Ashley has also held multiple positions at the Plastics Industry Association, including Senior Director of Sustainability & Materials from May 2020 to April 2021, Director of Sustainability from May 2017 to May 2020, and Director of Key Accounts from December 2014 to April 2017.

Before joining the Plastics Industry Association, Ashley worked at Eastman Chemical Company in various roles. Ashley served as a Product Stewardship Manager for Specialty Plastics from August 2012 to December 2014, an Advanced Quality Assurance Representative from June 2010 to August 2012, a Manufacturing Technical Staff Engineer from July 2008 to June 2010, and a Product Development Engineer from June 2007 to July 2008.

Ashley's career began at Martek Biosciences as a Chemical Engineering Co-op from July 2004 to October 2006.

Ashley Hood-Morley obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. Ashley completed their undergraduate studies at this institution from 2002 to 2007.
