Fatima Umar

Fatima Umar is an experienced volunteer and consultant with a strong focus on digital advocacy, peacebuilding, and humanitarian issues. Currently volunteering with UNDP Kenya, Fatima leads digital advocacy for International Youth Day 2025 and manages content creation across various social media platforms. As a consultant for ScreenMe, Fatima developed strategic recommendations for a health-tech startup, while also collaborating with Save the Children UK to address child poverty through multidisciplinary consultancy projects. Fatima has held senior research and editorial roles with the Platform for Peace and Humanity and STEAR, contributing to peace and conflict studies. Currently pursuing an MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from the London School of Economics, Fatima's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies and multiple certifications in humanitarian response and peacebuilding.
