Shamsher Ansari

Shamsher Ansari is a seasoned technical product manager with extensive experience in software engineering and product development. Currently at Platform9 since June 2023, Shamsher is focused on a groundbreaking product aimed at reducing AWS EKS costs by 50%. Previously, Shamsher contributed to VMware as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, where efforts were directed towards enhancing Kubernetes accessibility for Edge Computing. As a Senior Software Engineer at Red Hat, Shamsher managed the open-source Istio Service Mesh 1.9 release. Additionally, Shamsher led significant migrations of monolithic applications to microservices at Synerzip and developed various software solutions at prominent firms like Cuelogic Technologies, ProBytes Software, and S.S.UserWorks Technologies. Shamsher holds multiple certifications in cloud computing from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology.
