Andreas Schwolen-Backes

Andreas Schwolen-Backes serves as the CEO of PLATH GmbH & Co. KG since February 2022, following a successful tenure at PLATH Group from January 2005 to January 2022, where roles included Managing Director of Business Division Radio Reconnaissance System, CTO, and Director of Signal Products. Prior to this, Andreas held positions in academia and military, including a Scientific Assistant role at Helmut Schmidt Universität - Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg and various officer roles within the Bundeswehr and NATO, with a focus on signal and telecommunications technology. Andreas earned a doctorate in engineering and has a solid foundation in electrical engineering with a specialization in telecommunications.
