Aaron Hughes

Aaron Hughes is an advisor at Platina Systems and a former board member of the Open-IX Association. Aaron was also previously employed by PeeringDB and AMS-IX.

AMS-IX is the world's largest Internet Exchange, with over 650 IP networks connected and 2.5 Terabits per second of traffic peak. Aaron was a board member from February 2014 to February 2020, during which time the company established its presence in the US with AMS-IX New York and also expanded to East Africa with the AMS-IX East Africa Exchange Point.

Aaron Hughes attended Boston English High School and then went on to Harvard University where they studied computer science.
