Frank Yang

Frank Yang is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in hardware engineering and product development. As the Co-founder and CTO of Platina Systems since March 2015, Frank oversees product architecture and engineering, focusing on innovations for modern data centers. Prior to this role, Frank served as Senior Director of Hardware Engineering at Brocade from January 2009 to March 2015, where responsibilities included managing a large team and overseeing the development of various hardware products. Frank's earlier positions include Director of Hardware at Foundry Networks and Manager of Hardware/Optical Engineering at Ciena, showcasing a robust track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering hardware solutions efficiently. Frank earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
