Drew Jennings has a diverse work experience in the education field. From 1999 to 2003, Jennings worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Goshen Friends School. This was followed by a position as an Elementary School Teacher at Wilmington Friends School from 2002 to 2008. From 2008 to 2015, Jennings served as an Elementary School Teacher at William Penn Charter School. In 2021, Jennings worked as a PE and Health Teacher at Alliance for Progress Charter School until July 2022. From 2020 onwards, Jennings was the Founder and Head Trailblazer at Barefoot. Additionally, in 2022, Jennings became a Camp Director at Plato Learning LLC and a Fourth Grade Teacher at Southwest Leadership Academy Charter School.
Drew Jennings attended The University of New Mexico from 1993 to 1999, where they studied International and Intercultural Communication. Prior to that, they completed high school at Westtown School from 1985 to 1993, specializing in Organizational Leadership. Additionally, Drew obtained a certification in Innovative School Leadership from Friends Council on Education, focusing on Educational Leadership and Administration, General. They also have certifications in Red Cross Instructor Training from the American Red Cross and Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid from NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
