Edward Watson

Edward Watson is an experienced communications and marketing professional currently serving as the Communications Director at Platte-Clay Electric Cooperative since August 2022. Previously, Edward held the position of Marketing Manager at KC CARE Health Center, where responsibilities included overseeing marketing initiatives for the organization. Edward also served as Creative Services Director for the YMCA of Greater Kansas City, leading marketing and communications across various centers and departments. Earlier roles include Design Coordinator and Graphic Designer for Unbound, where responsibilities encompassed art direction and the creation of publications, as well as Graphic Designer for Project Construct National Center, focusing on print publications and digital presence. Edward holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree with an emphasis in visual storytelling from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
