Caroline Barlerin

Caroline Barlerin is a social impact leader with extensive experience in philanthropy, impact investing, and community engagement, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Platypus Advisors since August 2019. Prior to this role, Caroline was the Global Head of Social Innovation at Eventbrite, where significant strategies and programs were developed, achieving high employee participation in social impact initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as the Global Head of Community Outreach and Philanthropy at Twitter and as a First Mover Fellow at The Aspen Institute, focusing on corporate social intrapreneurship. Caroline has also held senior positions at Hewlett-Packard, where initiatives to support low-income entrepreneurs were launched, as well as at Big Tent, Level Playing Field Institute, and Taproot Foundation. Educational background includes a Sloan Fellowship at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, along with degrees from Vassar College and other institutions.
