Diego Ademir Duarte Santana

Diego Ademir Duarte Santana is an experienced Security and Compliance Officer at Platzi since November 2021, contributing to significant security and privacy initiatives, including the certification of an ISMS under ISO27001:2022, making Platzi the first ed-tech startup in LATAM to achieve this milestone. Prior to this role, Diego served as the CEO of SeguTIC at Information Security Consulting from June 2016 to December 2021, providing comprehensive information security solutions. Additional experience includes positions as an Information Security Consultant for the Alcaldía de Bucaramanga, IT Project Manager at Jardines La Colina, and various teaching roles in information technology and security across prestigious universities. Diego holds a Specialist degree in Information Security from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and a degree from Universidad Industrial de Santander.
