John Lackner

John Lackner has had a varied and successful career in the retail industry. John began their career at H&M in 2000, working their way up from Sales Advisor to Department Manager, Store Manager, Area Controller, US Country Controller, and Midwest Regional Sales Manager. In 2019, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Mumuso Mexico, and in 2020, they took on the roles of Chief Executive Officer at HEMA Mexico and Managing Partner & COO at Play Out Apparel. At Play Out Apparel, they are responsible for helping the LGBTQ+ community shop their authentic selves through inclusive fashion. At HEMA, they led the planning and execution for the launch of the brand's first store in North America, and at Mumuso Mexico, they were the strategic and operational leader with full P & L responsibility.

John Lackner attended Somers High School from 1991 to 1995. John then continued their education at Wesleyan University, graduating in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and German Studies.
