Grisel Cordones

Grisel Cordones is a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry with extensive experience in sales and event management. Currently serving as Sales Manager at Playa Hotels & Resorts since March 2019, Grisel oversees sales for Hyatt Ziva & Zilara Cap Cana. Previously, Grisel held the position of Group Sales Manager at AMResorts from September 2011 to June 2018, managing group sales for multiple luxury resorts, including Secrets Wild Orchid and Breathless Montego Bay. Grisel's background also includes roles as a Task Force Member for the opening of three luxury resorts, a Groups Manager for Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana, and a Group Manager for Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana, where Grisel established the property's groups department. Grisel began a career in hospitality as a Wedding Coordinator at Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa, optimizing wedding bookings and event management. Grisel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Universidad Central del Este, completed in 2004.
